Visiting this beautiful cute home melts our hearts. The rural and natural Ibiza elements with classical details combined with the Days of Tumult statements are pretty matching. On this hot summer day Harm & Eline are taking it slow. "Since we are expecting our second child we take more time to slow down." Says Eline with a big smile while stroking her growing belly. "In this heat we eat, sleep and take a lot of outdoor showers. We bought this home to escape the city roars of Rotterdam. It is quiet and green here in Heinenoord, yet we are still only 20 minutes away from the city. Best of both worlds I would say."

“This dyke house was exactly what we were looking for to build a family. A lot of space inside and outside and even a big garage to park Harm's motor. In the 4 years we have lived here we have done a lot to make it our home. We put in a new kitchen, new windows for proper isolation and painted everything. We also installed solar cells because we try to be conscious about the environment.”

Harm used his extra time during the lockdown period to build the overhead terrace with a TV to watch Formula1 and a heater for the cold winter evenings. "I wanted an outside place where we could have some privacy together or with friends. With a baby phone we can now spent hours here." Says Harm while their red curly boy wants dad to take him to the shower. “Well let’s go then!”
